You're invited to the 2020 Midwest Regional Bus Conference here at North Platte Baptist Church. Whether you’ve been in the bus ministry for years or are thinking about starting one, our prayer is that you will be inspired and encouraged. Mark your calenders for February 17 & 18 and be our guest for this exciting and refreshing conference.

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

Inspire

If you do not currently run a church bus, please come and see what the bus ministry is all about. It is our goal to inspire every church, no matter the size, to have a strong outreach program.

Encourage

It is our goal is to encourage you with the many activities, bus songs, preaching and morning sessions. This confernce is designed with bus workers in mind and we pray it is a blessing to you.

Prepare

There will be a morning teaching session on Tuesday along with Q&A times with the guest speakers. It is a great time for those who are involved in the bus ministry to glean helpful truths.

A CONFERENCE FOR BUS WORKERS

During the Midwest Regional Bus Confernce you'll enjoy activites, songs, games, and competitions that are all bus themed. Our desire is to create what a healthy church bus atmosphere should be and present bus workers with exciting bus ministry ideas.

SMALL TOWN BUS MINISTRIES

North Platte Baptist Church is located in a rural area of around 30,000 people and has been running buses for over 40 years. Under Pastor William Reeves' leadership, the bus ministry has grown and been strengthened. The Midwest Regional Bus Conference is aimed at not only inspiring and encouraging bus workers but also at helping to provide them with useful tips, techniques, and materials that will give longevity to small bus ministries.

Special Speakers

Dr. John Francis

Dr. John Francis gratuated from Hyles Anderson College in 1989 and was hired on at First Baptist Church in 1990. He oversees many minisrty from Sunday schools, to Missions, to recovery ministry. He currently serves as the bus director of the Chicagoland Bus Ministry.

Dr. William Tyson

Dr. William Tyson was reached through the bus ministry at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Bowie, Maryland and now serves as its pastor. Dr. William Tyson is the founder of Bus Them In, a ministry that helps establish bus ministries in churches across America and the world. 

CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

Please plan to be with us!

Monday Evening - 7pm

Services start at 7pm with singing, games, competitions, and good old fashioned preaching.

Tuesday Morning - 9am - 12:30pm

Teaching sessions along with Q&A times with special speakers!
Breakfast will be provided! 

Tuesday Evening - 7pm

During this service there will be more activities, songs, competitions, and preaching to close out the conference
